The Graveyard of the Atlantic, Cape Hatteras feels removed from everything. Miles of barrier island mostly left alone.  Beach bonfires at night, surf fishing for bull drum, boats out at first light, sandbars at low tide.

Navy like offshore waters. Washed blue like surf over the bars.
