shirts are now much roomier in chest and abdomen= great! am 6'0", 190 lbs. blue/red stripe is more faded than pic-- looks even better as shipped!
These shorts are very well made. 5" inseam is perfect, just right above the knees, I am 5"3 so it just right. Its a short that you can pretty much do anything in, you can dress it up, get rough and hike with it, etc. Looking forward to getting more in various colors.

Amazing quality. They do not come preshrunk so if its a little baggy on you like the size small was on me (5,8) i washed it in warm and dried and it fit like a glove after that. This has become my favorite climbing and overall go to shirt. Vibrant colors make me stand out everywhere with a rich retro aesthetic. Sturdy and worth the high dollar price. Will be getting more withernot rugby shirts to add to my wardrobe.
Upon opening this shirt I could tell immediately that it was special. It’s a fantastic material that feels sturdy and high-quality. The shirt arrived a month ago and I have worn it at least once every weekend since. It quickly became my favorite shirt for walking the dog, grabbing groceries or just being lazy reading the paper on Sunday. I never write reviews, but was compelled to write one because of how much I love this shirt. However, I wanted to wait until I washed it to make sure it didn’t shrink—a huge problem for a 6’4” guy with long arms (205 lbs, ordered large). I followed the care instructions—cold wash on its own, hang dry—and am happy to report no such shrinking issues. I can’t wait to see what it looks like in 20 years and might just have to add another Withernot to my collection.
P.S. whoever said this is carrot orange in a previous review either received a messed up order or is color blind. Or I suppose has never seen a carrot. Mine came as advertised.
I bought this for a gift for my son. He choose this and loved it. We had to return to Medium because it was too large. Withernot sent a label to return and sent us a Small immediately. Wonderful service and awesome looking shirt.

Only thing I don’t love is the soft buttons are a little hard to push through the button holes. (Not really a complaint just an observation)
This feels like the rugbies we’d get at the old Britches Great Outdoors in DC. I particularly appreciated the rubber buttons (which take a little time). I’m 5’10’ 180 and need to shrink the medium, but it now fits great.

I just purchased the Acadia Rugby Shirt. I purchased the Shenandoah version a few weeks ago. These shirts are simply the very best. The quality, the color vibrancy, the heavy cotton fabric, and the tight weave around the wrists simply scream of rugby shirts of years gone by. You won't find a better made rugby shirt, period. Yes, the cost gives you a slight pause, but once you make the decision, and you wear the shirt, you decide it was just a terrific idea and then you make another decision ...to buy a second one!
