This color started with a swatch I kept on my desk for months. A brown-green that feels pulled from trail dust, river stones, and old canvas packs. Not too warm, not too cold. Just that perfect in-between tone that quietly works with everything.
The fabric is our heavyweight custom-knit cotton, dense and sturdy with a dry hand. It breaks in slowly and honestly. The solid body gives it a clean, utilitarian look: the kind of piece you reach for without thinking, because it never looks out of place.

Most rugby shirts today are flimsy and blended with synthetic fibers.
Ours are made from a custom-knit 14 oz heavyweight cotton fabric. No polyester. No stretch. Just substantial, heavyweight cotton that gets softer with age and develops character with every season of wear.

Withernot began with a painstaking journey: finding rugby shirts like the ones our dad wore in the 70s & 80s.
Heavyweight cotton. Rubber buttons. A sturdy twill collar. Reinforced construction.
